Here are the skills that consistently deliver the most value for everyday productivity.
1. Browser Control (Pre-installed)
This is the one that makes people's jaws drop. With browser control enabled, OpenClaw can:
- Log into websites on your behalf
- Fill out forms automatically
- Book appointments and reservations
- Add items to cart and complete purchases
- Scrape data from any website
You just describe what you want done: *"Go to OpenTable and book a table for 2 at any Italian restaurant near downtown SF this Saturday at 7pm."* OpenClaw handles the rest.

2. File Manager (Pre-installed)
OpenClaw can read, write, organize, and process files directly on your server. Practical uses:

- Convert files between formats
- Extract text from PDFs and summarize them
- Organize downloads into folders by type or date
How to use it: Say *"Clean up my downloads folder — move images to /images, PDFs to /docs, and delete anything older than 6 months."*
3. Web Search (Pre-installed)
Unlike a basic chatbot, OpenClaw can actually search the web in real time. This means:
- Current information (not just training data)
- Price comparisons across multiple sites

How to use it: Just ask questions that require current information. OpenClaw knows when to search.
4. Code Execution (Pre-installed)
OpenClaw can write code and immediately run it. This is more powerful than it sounds:

Ask OpenClaw to draft emails in your voice — cold outreach, follow-ups, apology emails, negotiation emails. After a few examples, it learns your tone.
